For businesses that live from wine – and people who appreciate it.
I grew up in a winemaking family on the Palatinate Mittelhaardt and have always combined viticultural practice with analytical thinking. After studying natural sciences in Heidelberg, I spent over two decades working for international corporations. In my roles as a manager, I helped shape sales, marketing (product management & pricing), and business development at both global and regional levels – with a particular focus on pricing and its implementation in the market.
Since 2021, I have been working independently at the intersection of wine, market, and strategy. I support wineries and wine organizations in selling their wine more successfully: through clear positioning, coherent assortments, convincing pricing, and a sales and marketing strategy that fits the identity of the business. My goal is not to be “louder,” but clearer – so that quality, origin, and performance are understood in the market and appropriately remunerated.
At the same time, I stand for wine education and experiences. As a speaker, trainer, and moderator, I design and lead tastings, workshops, seminars, and events – both on-site and online. In terms of content, the spectrum ranges from sensory analysis and stylistics to terroir and “physics in viticulture” (weather, climate, location, soil, water) to current topics such as PIWI, climate adaptation, or low/no-alcohol.
My work combines viticultural practice, sensory competence, and international management experience – from the vine to the shelf.–
